Description

Paraguayan state regulatory agency Banco Central del Paraguay determines economic, monetary and exchange rate policies. It issues banknotes and coins, and acts as banker and state agent. Created in 1952, the bank manages the country's external reserves and acts as advisor to the government regarding legal and regulatory modifications to Paraguay's economic policy.
