Description

Brazilian utility Copasa provides water and sewerage services in Minas Gerais state. Its water distribution network covers over 48,000km, while its sewerage collection network comprises nearly 24,000km. Controlled by Minas Gerais, the company also develops projects to improve its network, revamp facilities and expand sanitation services. In 2014, it created a public private partnership with Odebrecht Ambiental to expand the Río Manso water supply system in Belo Horizonte. The company also offers technical assistance and consulting services to municipalities and companies operating in the industry.
