Description

Enel Fortuna S.A. is a power generation company based in the City of Panama, branch of the Italian electricity firm Enel Green Power S.p.A. (50.1%) with the balance held by the State of Panamá (49.9%), which was incorporated in 1999 as Empresa de Generación Eléctrica Fortuna, S.A. to generate and sell electricity to distributors in Panama and Central America. Enel Fortuna owns and operates the Hydropower plant Fortuna (300 MW), located in the Province of Chiriquí.
