Cuba's state-owned telco Etecsa is the sole provider of telephone, internet, wireless and public payphones services in the island nation. Mobile lines have reached a total of 3mn since President Raúl Castro's government lifted the ban in 2008, and Etecsa has said it plans to make an additional 800,000 mobile lines available through 2015.
