Colombia to invest US$37mn in Benito Salas airport

Colombia will invest 73bn pesos (US$37.2mn) in infrastructure improvements to the Benito Salas airport in Neiva, Huila department, according to a press release from the president's office.

The money will go toward extending the airport's runway in order to accommodate larger planes, President Juan Manuel Santos was quoted as saying, as well as improving the terminal.
