Pemex ethane pipeline ruptures in Tabasco state

A 20-inch ethane pipeline operated by Mexico's state oil company Pemex connecting the Cactus gas processor complex in Chiapas state to La Cangrejera petrochemical complex in Veracruz state registered a spillage on Monday afternoon in Tabasco state, the company said in a statement.

Pemex partially shut down the pipeline and halted pumping until the damage was repaired, according to the statement.

The company did not provide details about the causes of the incident. No injuries were reported.
