Description: Joy Global is a worldwide provider for high productivity mining solutions. Through its Surface and Ground business units - and P&H, JOY and Montabert product lines- Joy Global manufactures and markets original equipment, spare parts and services for the mining industry. Its product portfolio includes electric shovels, front loaders, drills, mobile drilling dredger, conveyor belts and HAC. In 2014, the company acquired the underground hard rock mining assets of Mining Technologies International (MTI), adding thus LHD's, jumbos, dump trucks and the raise bore product line to its portfolio; and subsequently from Montabert, which deals in hard rock drills, electro hydraulic drilling equipment, production and bolters. Joy Global‘s products and services are widely used for coal, copper, iron ore, oil sands, gold and other mineral resources mining. In Latin America, the company has offices and service workshops in Chile, Peru, Brazil and Mexico. Through Brazil and Mexico, the company serves Venezuela and Colombia's markets. Joy Global was founded in 1884 and is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
