Citibank unit chairman joins Stanford Latin America

Franco Moccia, former chairman at Citibank Colombia, has joined US private wealth management and investment banking firm Stanford Financial Group Latin America as managing director, the latter said in a press release. Francisco Aristeguieta, former chief compliance officer (CCO) at Citibank Venezuela, will replace Moccia at Colombia's Citi (NYSE: C) unit, a Citibank Colombia spokesperson told BNamericas. In his new position, Moccia will be responsible for all of Stanford's operations throughout Latin America including its offices in Mexico, Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. Stanford serves clients from 136 countries on six continents.
