The Public Hydrocarbons Company of Ecuador, EP Petroecuador, awarded the importation of 40,000 barrels of Gasoline Aviation (AVGAS), to the company Trafigura Pte. Ltd., who offered a differential of + USD 95.75 per barrel.
EP Petroecuador opened the envelopes on June 15, where three (3) offers were received from the companies and / or companies Novum Energy Trading Corp. with a differential per barrel of + USD 103.15, Puma Energy Supply & Trading Pte. Ltd with a differential per barrel of + USD 124.75 and Trafigura Pte. Ltd.
This volume is expected to be delivered in the period July 2020 - May 2021, in five shipments of 8,000 barrels +/- 10% each. The first import will be between July 22 and 31, 2020.
The import of this hydrocarbon covers the demand for alternative aviation engines, especially for the use of fumigation planes and ambulances, throughout the national territory.
