Chakana Copper reported assays from five additional step-out holes in the Breccia Pipe 1 (Bx 1) at its Soledad copper-gold-silver project in central Peru.
Phase 1 drilling is ongoing with a total of 10,629m drilled to date out of 16,660m originally planned and is ahead of schedule and under budget, the company said in a statement.
Results include 52m grading 1.48% copper, 5.14g/t gold and 60.2g/t silver, and 78.1m of 1.36% copper, 1.37g/t gold, and 87.2g/t silver.

Oceanus Resources reported that a regional mapping project carried out to the south of Gold Hill in Sonora, Mexico, has demonstrated that the prospective gold-silver El Tigre formation continues along strike in a southeasterly direction for an additional 5km.
The company also said it has received an updated 3D model of the historical El Tigre mine underground workings that incorporates assay data from 2,500 underground channel samples collected in the drifts, stopes and raises of the El Tigre, Sooy and Seitz Kelly veins.
