Govt. to Invest US$30mn in Airport Upgrades

Nicaragua's state-owned airport administrator (OSEAA) will invest some US$30mn over three years to build a new airport terminal and renovate four existing terminals, OSEAA director Antonio Arellano said yesterday. OSEAA will invest US$21mn to renovate buildings and runways at the Augusto Cesar Sandino international terminal in Managua. The investments also include building and runway upgrades at three small airfields on the Atlantic coast, Arellano added.
