Aislaciones Térmicas Industriales Aguirre y Aguirre SA. (Aster Chile) is an industrial products and services provider founded in 1991. The company operates in three areas: thermal insulation, multidirectional scaffolding, and cladding manufacturing. Its portfolio of thermal and acoustic insulation products includes glass wool, rock wool, elastomeric foam, polyurethane, ceramic fiber blanket, calcium silicate, foam glass, pyro gel, FRP, and mineral and expanded perlite. In its area of scaffolding, the company offers advice, design, calculation, assembly, rental, and sale. Aster Chile also has a manufacturing workshop of more than 500 m2 for clients who require customized parts in aluminum, stainless steel, zinc, and more.
The company has participated in various projects throughout the country, including the thermal insulation of equipment and pipelines at the Codelco Chuquicamata Acid 3 and 4 plants, the expansion of the SQM Salar del Carmen lithium plant, and the thermal insulation of pipes and scaffolding assembly of the Minera Escondida ECT Project, in region II; thermal insulation for the modernization of stage II of CMPC Laja's Liquor Blanco Plant, in addition to thermal insulation of equipment, pipelines and the rental and assembly of scaffolding for the Bocamina desulfurizer, Enesa's boiler No. 4, and the boiler from Orafti biomass, in region VIII; thermal insulation and leasing of scaffolding for biomass boilers at Eagon and Comasa, in region IX; and the heat tracing service, in addition to the aforementioned, for the Yamana Gold plant expansion project in Alhué, in the metropolitan region.
