BTU S.A. is an Argentine company engaged in the development and execution of engineering, construction, assembly and start-up projects, such as civil works, railroad renovations, LPG plants, wastewater treatment plants, pipelines and gas distribution networks, among others, for both public and private organization in the oil & gas, infrastructure and energy sectors. The company has installed over 900km of high pressure gas pipelines, 130,000HP for natural gas compression and has upgraded over 150,000km of railroads. Some of its recent projects are a rehabilitation and modernization project of a 90km-stretch of the Gral. Belgrano railway; an engineering, construction and assembly project for the 4th turbo-compressor of the Pichanal Turbo-Compressor Plant, owned by Transportadora Gas del Norte; and an engineering, construction and assembly project for the Northeastern Argentina Gas Pipeline, owned by Enarsa S.A, among others. BTU was incorporated in 1982 and is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
