Description:
The consortium is made up of Argentina-based Pan American Energy LLC and E&P Hidrocarburos y Servicios S.A. de C.V. It was awarded in the second phase of Mexico's Round One tender a production-sharing contract for offshore Hokchi field which contains an estimated 21.3Mb of proven reserves. The shallow water field, located along the southern edge of the Gulf of Mexico and known as contractual Area 2 in the auction, features 334Mb in remaining oil resources and spans 40km2.
