Empresas Lipigas S.A. is an international company with presence in Chile, Peru and Colombia, engaged in distribution and trading of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Lipigas started operations in 1950 in Chile, in Valparaíso region (V), the firm's major market, where it operates with the brand Lipigas with a 36.5% market share. In Chile, operations focus on LPG bottling, distribution and trading for residential, commercial, industrial and transport clients. In Colombia, it operates since 2010 through subsidiary Chilco, and in Peru, since 2013 through subsidiary Lima Gas. In 2016 Empresas Lipigas S.A took over Neogas Do Brasil Gas Natural Comprimido's subsidiary - Neogas Perú S.A – a company incorporated in Peru and involved in natural gas distribution. In the three countries combined, Empresas Lipigas serves 1,800,000 clients annually, including cylinder gas or bulk gas customers, for the residential, commercial and industrial segments.
