Gas y Petroleo de Neuquen (GyP) is an Argentine provincial oil and gas company in Neuquén. The company holds a 10% working interest in the Covunco Norte-Sur, Los Toldos I and Totoral exploratory blocks in the country's Neuquén basin. In 2012, the company spud the first exploration well for unconventional resources on the Aguada del Chañar license targeting the Vaca Muerta shale formation. Proved reserves at Aguada del Chañar total 210,000m3 oil and 410Mm3 natural gas. GyP is based in Ciudad de Neuquén, Argentina.
