3R Petroleum Óleo e Gás is a hydrocarbon exploration and production company created in 2010. 3R has onshore and offshore operations with assets located in the Potiguar (Macau, Fazenda Belém, Pescada & Arabaiana) and Recôncavo (Rio Ventura) basins. Pescada & Arabaiana is in shallow waters, while its other operations are located on land. In all of them, 3R owns a 100% stake. Its proven and probable reserves amount to 101 million barrels of oil equivalent. 3R was born from the merger by acquisition of 3R Petroleum e Participações SA by Ouro Preto Óleo e Gás who later changed its name to 3R Petroleum Óleo e Gás.
