Description:

Renova S.A. is an Argentine producer of biodiesel, glycerin, refined soy oil, as well as soy lecithin, soy flour, and soybean hull pellets. The company is a joint venture owned by Oleaginosa Moreno Hnos. S.A -a subsidiary of multinational commodity trading firm Glencore-, and local agroindustrial group Vicentin S.A.I.C. Operating since 2007, it owns two production plants located in San Lorenzo department, in Santa Fe province. The Timbúes complex, with crushing capacity of 2,000t/d of soybean, has its own port terminal and power cogeneration system. The San Lorenzo plant can produce up to 1,000t/d of refined oil, 700t/d of neutralized oil, 1440t/d of biodiesel, and 270t/d of glycerin. Renova is headquartered in Buenos Aires city.
