Description:
Terminal Puerto Coquimbo S.A. (TPC), established in the year 2012, is the concession holder of the multipurpose terminal of the Chilean port of Coquimbo which provides cruise ships and tourism companies, fruit and vegetable companies, and mining firms with port, storage, and cargo transfer services. TCP develops, maintains and exploits the terminal, whose total surface reaches 14.5 hectares; and has 11,487 m2 for mineral storage and 40,000 m2 for stacking different cargo types. TPC plans to modernize the terminal since 2019; a project which includes the construction of a 740-m multipurpose dock for vessels of up to 300-m long and other two berthing structures, and the repairing of the existing sites.
