Aliança do Brasil hits 1mn policy mark
Bnamericas Published: Tuesday, May 25, 2004
Brazilian life insurer Aliança do Brasil surpassed the 1 million mark for life policies this month, Brazil's private insurance federation Fenaseg reported. The insurer's management attributed the historic achievement to successful product launches during the last couple of years. The company introduced a specially designed life policy in June last year for women called BB Seguro Vida Mulher, with 130,000 customers signed up to date. Another successful product has been its group-life and personal accident policy Seguro Ouro Vida, which has obtained 84% satisfaction rates in company-sponsored customer surveys. Aliança do Brasil is controlled by Brazil's largest bank Banco do Brasil.
