CFE tender for Azufres drilling draws 2 interested companies

Two firms had purchased bidding rules for the international tender launched by Mexican state power company CFE for the drilling of wells for its 188MW Los Azufres geothermal plant in Michoacán state as of the first project meeting, according to federal procurement website Compranet. The local firms were Constructora y Perforadora Latina and Pozos y Perforaciones de México. Bidding rules are available through March 12, with bids due March 19. Works are scheduled to begin April 27 and run 290 days. The tender number is 18164092-001-09.
