Cerro Negro to Build Independencia School

Venezuela's Cerro Negro - a heavy crude production-processing joint-venture between state-owned PDVSA, Mobil (NYSE: MOB) and Veba Oel - has signed an agreement with the municipality of Independencia and other local authorities to build a school in the locality of Aceital del Yabo, in the state of Anzoategui. Cerro Negro will furnish 66% of the capital.
