Goldman Sachs recommends BBVA's Bancomer offer

Investment bank Goldman Sachs has recommended that minority shareholders of Mexico's largest banking group BBVA Bancomer sell their shares to BBVA, which has launched a 45.2bn peso (US$4.14bn) all cash tender offer for the 40.6% of Bancomer it does not control. Goldman Sachs was hired as an independent expert by Bancomer to issue an opinion on the price of the tender offer.
