ISA H1 net rises 26.1% to US$102mn

Colombian state transmission company ISA reported its first half net profit rose 26.1% to 207bn pesos (US$102mn) compared to 1H08. Operating revenue in the first six months of this year increased 9% to 1.65tn pesos from the year-ago period, ISA said in a statement. Ebitda was up 11% to 1.22tn pesos. The company's operations in Brazil accounted for 57.2% of Ebitda, while Colombia accounted for 32.5%, Peru 8.6% and Bolivia 1.4%.
