Summo Fattens up Terrazas Ore Zone

Denver-based exploration company Summo Minerals (TSE: SMA) has further expanded the ore zone at its Terrazas copper-zinc property in northern Mexico's Chihuahua state, the company reported. A line of nine more step-out drill holes returned intercepts including 24m at 4% copper equivalent, 12m at 1.16% copper equivalent and 24m at 0.82% copper equivalent. Seven of the nine holes intercepted economic mineralization, the company said. Most of the economic mineralization was encountered below 80m depth. The latest line was 50-100m beyond a line reported September 15. Previous estimates of Terrazas deposit were of approximately 100Mt measuring 1,200m by 375m and 75m thick. Summo said this will be revised once drilling is complete and a new model is constructed.
