Americas account for half of Adobe's revenues in fiscal Q3

Bnamericas
The Americas accounted for 50% of US software company Adobe Systems' (Nasdaq: ADBE) revenues in its fiscal third quarter, ended September 2, company executive VP and CFO Mark Garrett said in a conference call with investors. "We experienced stable demand in the Americas and Asia, [but] the weakness in EMEA that we experienced in Q2 continued into Q3," the executive said. Globally, Adobe's quarterly revenues reached US$1.01bn, up from US$990mn in the year-ago period. Meanwhile, net income totaled US$195mn, compared to US$230mn in the year-ago quarter. "We are targeting a Q4 revenue range between US$1.075bn and US$1.125bn. At the midpoint of this targeted range, we would expect all of our business segments to grow sequentially except print and publishing, which we expect to be relatively flat," Garrett said. "We would also expect all of our major geographies to grow sequentially." According to previous press reports, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico led the company's regional growth last year.
