ANDE coordinates actions with support from the IDB to establish a national strategy for the use of green hydrogen in Paraguay

Félix Sosa and the Director of Planning, Eng. Tito Ocariz met, today, Tuesday, October 3, with the Senior Specialist of the Energy Division of the Inter-American Development Bank - IDB, Verónica Prado and professionals from the Deloitte Consulting Firm who are making a technical visit to the country, to present a proposal for the development of a national strategy for the green hydrogen economy in Paraguay.

During the meeting, where technical engineers from the Planning Directorate and the ANDE Strategic Business Office also participated, as well as Eng. Gustavo Cazal, representative of the Vice Ministry of Mines and Energy, Deloitte professionals presented the state of the market of Green Hydrogen, as well as production technologies and current uses.

The International Consulting Firm Deloitte (DTT), hired by the IDB, brings together professionals who provide Audit, Consulting, Risk Management, Financial and Tax Advice services for the main companies in the world. The final objective of the Consultancy is to develop a strategy for the use of green Hydrogen in the Republic of Paraguay.

Both the President of ANDE, the representative of the IDB and the representative of the Vice Ministry of Mines and Energy agreed to work together to contribute to the development of the strategy for the use of green Hydrogen in Paraguay.
