Argentina's written premiums up 19.3% in Oct
Argentine insurers' written premiums totaled 8.31bn pesos (US$1.31bn) in October, up 19.3% from 6.96bn pesos in October 2012 (in constant value pesos), a report by Argentina insurance regulator SSN said.
P&C policies made up 79.8% of October's written premiums, followed by life insurance (18.5%) and the pension segment (1.6%).
In the same month P&C written premiums rose 20.2% year-on-year to 6.63bn pesos, life written premiums grew 17.1% to 1.54bn pesos and pension written premiums increased 4.3% to 135mn pesos, SSN said.
