Brazil insurance regulator sets 2017 agenda
Brazilian insurance regulator Susep will look at the possibility of expanding the insurance sector through so-called remote sales channels as part of its 2017 regulatory agenda.
According to insurance confederation CNseg, the agenda also includes the revision of rules that deal with the custody of documents, a possible new regulatory framework for the savings bond segment, and financial assistance for pension providers, among others.
Susep also plans to look at reinsurance cession limits, guaranteed assets and co-insurance next year, according to CNseg.
