Deloitte and BDO sign an alliance with Nimbi that intends to move more than R$50mn in two years
This is a machine translation of Deloitte's press release, originally in Portuguese
São Paulo, December 2022 - Nimbi , a technology and specialized services company that offers solutions that transform organizations' supply chains, announces a business alliance with DELOITTE and BDO.
"Nimbi was born seven years ago with the DNA of a technology company and since then it has grown and become a reference in technological solutions for the supply chain. From this movement, the company starts to focus 100% on technology, its purpose, the objective of becoming the Brazilian market leader in solutions for the supply chain segment", concludes Carolina Cabral, CEO of Nimbi.
According to the CEO, maintaining the growth strategy focused on technology, Nimbi is looking for partners to join and take over the company's services vertical, which includes Outsourcing and Consulting offers. "We took a fundamental strategic step for Nimbi's future, which was reflected in the construction of an alliance involving two of the largest Professional Services companies operating in Brazil -- Deloitte and BDO", comments Carolina Cabral.
Thus, Deloitte and BDO begin to offer their respective services to clients that until then were conducted by Nimbi, which, in turn, ceases to operate in this service provision segment.
Deloitte, at a time of accelerated growth in the country, brings together 7 thousand people at the head of the most comprehensive professional services portfolio in the market -- in which it has been strengthening and diversifying offers focused on operating secondary activities for clients. Among them, one of the most promising is the Outsourcing of Purchasing and Logistics practice, where the alliance with Nimbi will allow expanding the structure of professionals, accessing new clients and applying state-of-the-art technologies.
According to Luiz Fernando Rezende, leading partner of Deloitte's Tax Consultancy, which handles all fronts of outsourcing services, “this movement by the organization contributes to progressively strengthening and diversifying our offerings focused on client operations”. In addition, adds Rezende, “this alliance is yet another movement that adds to recent actions by Deloitte in search of a differentiated positioning in the market, in the context of new opportunities arising after the transformations in supply chains around the world, accelerated in the pandemic period".
BDO stands out in the national and international markets as the fifth largest auditing and consulting company in Brazil and a leader in the middle market. The company, with 26 branches, is present in the main cities of the country and assists clients with Audit, Tax Advisory, BPO and Technology services. “With this product, we seek to give our customers peace of mind so that they can focus on their core business and optimize their activities”, says the CEO and President of BDO Brasil, Raul Corrêa da Silva. “Supply management is yet another solution that we are now offering in the market”, he adds.
