DNIT tender roundup: Minas Gerais roadworks, Paraná consultancies

Brazil's transport infrastructure department ( DNIT) has called tenders worth a total 21mn reais (US$13.4mn) for consultancy and civil works for federal highway projects. The first, 10.7mn-real project, involves improving and expanding 38.6km of highway BR-381 in the southeastern state of Minas Gerais, and has been divided into two separate tenders. The first contemplates work from kilometers 0 to 19.4 and the second from 19.4 to 13.6. The work is budgeted at 4.22mn reais and 6.48mn reais respectively. Interested firms must submit offers by May 12, according to a DNIT tender notice. *** The authority also called a 5.88mn-real tender to develop executive projects to restore and maintain federal highways BR-373 and BR-158 in the southern state of Paraná. The work falls under phase II of national road restoration and maintenance program Crema. Proposals will need to be submitted by May 9, according to DNIT bid documents. *** Finally, DNIT launched a 4.49mn-real consultancy tender for research aimed at revising and creating new technical standards as well as manuals and other documents. The bid submission date is May 12, according to specifications set out in the tender.
