HP eyes remaining 40% of corporate market

Bnamericas
The Mexican division of US computer hardware firm Hewlett Packard (NYSE: HPQ) is preparing new product launches it hopes will help it win some of the 40% of the business market it does not yet own, HP's server sales manager Pilar García told news website Infochannel. HP México already has a 60% stake in the corporate market. It plans to launch two new servers, HP Proliant DL385 and HP Blade System, both based on the AMD Opteron processor, with a special focus on SMEs to win additional market share. "According to IDC, HP is the top server in the market based on the AMD Opteron processor," García said. Server sales will be fostered by the new program "My first network," designed by HP in order to facilitate adoption of the technology in the corporate segment.
