In Brief: Huawei in Brazil telecom R&D venture
Brazil's telecoms institute Inatel and Huawei have partnered to open a competence and innovation center (CIDC)
A staff of 100 engineers and telecoms professionals from Huawei and Inatel will work jointly to develop solutions for telecoms operators in Brazil. The CIDC will also include a training center for Inatel students.
Global interconnection and data center company Equinix in March teamed up with Inatel to support R&D of technologies related to cloud computing, big data and internet of things.
