Junior corporate roundup: Galaxy-Posco, Evrim-Newmont, Bearing
Galaxy Resources announced an update to the planned US$280mn sale of lithium tenements in Argentina to South Korea's Posco.
Galaxy has executed binding definitive documentation for the sale of the tenements, situated to the north of Galaxy's Sal de Vida lithium project on the Hombre Muerto salar.
The deal is expected to close by Q4.

Evrim Resources announced a strategic investment by Newmont Mining.
Newmont Canada, a Newmont subsidiary, agreed to purchase 4.8mn Evrim shares for Cdn$7.3mn (US$5.7mn).
Proceeds will fund work on the Cuale gold project in Mexico and be used for general corporate purposes.

Bearing Lithium completed the acquisition of additional interest in the Maricunga lithium project in Chile.
Bearing now has an 18.02% stake. Lithium Power International holds 51% and Minera Salar Blanco 30.98%.
