Karoon retains chairman to lead drill campaign

Karoon Gas Australia has retained executive chairman Robert Hosking in the lead-up to a drilling campaign targeting multibillion barrel gross prospective oil resources in Australia, Brazil and Peru. Three wells will be drilled in the Santos basin, Brazil in mid-2012 targeting 100M-400Mb oil prospects, then two wells in the Tumbes basin, Peru targeting 100M-300Mb oil and gas prospects, Karoon said in a statement.
