Latin America is an attractive place for mining exploration, with Mexico, Chile and Peru leading the pack, Fresnillo VP of exploration David Giles said.

In an interview with BNamericas, he also said potential for new finds remains strong in the three countries, despite extensive operations and the long history of mining.

"I think the mining exploration potential in Mexico, Peru and Chile is very good, and I agree that there is still a lot to be found in Mexico," he added.
