White Tiger, Century complete business combination

Canadian firm White Tiger Gold (TSX: WTG) has completed the previously announced business combination with compatriot Century Mining, the firms announced in a joint statement. The firms combined under a plan of arrangement in which Century has become an indirect subsidiary of White Tiger. Century shares were exchanged for either 0.4 of a White Tiger common share or 0.4 of an exchangeable share in the capital of AcquisitionCo. These shares are exchangeable into White Tiger shares on a one-for-one basis. Trading of Century shares on the TSX-V was halted prior to market open on Friday and are expected to be voluntarily de-listed from the exchange following the close of markets. Century has the San Juan mine in Peru and the Lamaque project in Quebec. White Tiger has exploration and mining licenses in Russia. Combined production from the companies' assets is expected to be approximately 111,000-121,000oz gold in 2011.
