Description: The project involves a physical expansion of the Morelos Petrochemical Complex's ethylene production plant. With the installation of new equipment, the initiative is aimed at increasing production capacity from 600 to 900Mt/y. It is stated that this improvement will permit greater diversification of products by allowing the production of polyethylene, ethylene oxide and ethylene glycols. The plan also includes construction of a polymer laboratory and an enlargement of the storage and distribution facility.
