Greenfield Mining (Remance Mine)

Description: The project includes geological, exploration, production and metallurgical beneficiation works with an exploitation projection of 200t/d of sustained production with gold content. The project seeks to reactivate the mining activities of the old Remance mine, which was exploited through underground work for the extraction of gold and other minerals, from the years 1900 to 1999. It will be exploited by means of underground workings with the method of cutting and ascending filling by sublevels, "trackless" methods and conventional methods, metallurgically benefited by cyanidation in pads and in tanks. The project incorporates the concept of "mining without waste" or also called the total rock concept (CRT), avoiding the generation of tailings and tailings. The project will be developed in an area of 2,400ha within the limits of Farm No. 447910, land located in the township of Remance, District of San Francisco, Province of Veraguas. The farm belongs to the company Icaza Trust Corporation, which authorized the owner of the project to use the land for mining development.
