Description:

Electric generation company with four hydroelectric plants (Yaupi, Malpaso, Pachacaca and La Oroya). It has an installed capacity of 183MW, and had an annual energy production in 2007 of 976.04 GWh. The company has 25 substations and 712km of transmission lines that cover Peru's Lima, Junín, Pasco and Huancavelica departments. Electroandes was controlled by PSEG until October 2007 when it transferred all its shares to SN Power through Inversiones Eléctricas de los Andes.
