Suape (Complexo Industrial Portuário de Suape)

Description

Suape - Complexo Industrial Portuário de Suape

The Suape port and industrial complex, created in 1978, is a shipping hub in the northeast region of Brazil serving port and industrial businesses. Over 70 companies have either been installed or are in their implementation phase at the industrial complex, representing investments to the order of US$ 1.7bn. Suape is equipped to carry out the operations of "transhipment" - the transference of large ship cargo (fourth generation containers) to the port facilities and reload them onto smaller ships. The hub is a deep-water port with electricity, water, telecommunications and natural gas networks installed throughout the complex and offers transport multi-modality with internal roads and railways.
