Aceros Arequipa is Peru's largest steel producer. Controlled by local group Cilloniz, it produces, distributes, and markets long and flat-steel products, including corrugated iron, wires, steel profiles, bars and pipes, as well as steel tools and hardware for the construction, civil engineering and mining industries. The company supplies the local market and also exports to Colombia, Ecuador and Bolivia. Its facilities include steel mills and rolling plants in Pisco and Arequipa. Aceros Arequipa was founded in 1964. In 1997, the firm merged with local company Aceros Calibrados.
