Venezuela's construction and engineering service provider Inelectra operates in the electric power, oil and gas, and petrochemicals segments. The firm provides services for all stages in project development, from feasibility studies, basic design engineering and detail engineering to project management, construction, procurement, commissioning and start-up. In 2011, Inelectra was part of a group selected by PDVSA to carry out the engineering, acquisition support and construction service management of the renovation of its Puerto La Cruz refinery. The company also developed the Termozulia III combined cycle plant in Venezuela's Zulia state. Some of its major clients are Corpoelec, Metanol de Oriente, Petroquímica de Venezuela, Doris Engineering, SNC Lavalin and PDVSA. The company was founded in 1968 and is based in Caracas. It has project execution centers in Caracas, Maracaibo, and Puerto La Cruz.
