Description:

A municipally-owned utility involved in power generation, transmission and distribution, wastewater treatment and telecommunications. In the power sector it has 2,605MW generation capacity, 727km of 220kV and 230kV transmission lines and 1.32 million distribution clients. EPM has 100% water and wastewater coverage in its concession area, with 3,000km of drinking water pipelines, almost 4,000km of wastewater pipelines, and 779,000 clients, and 2.28 employees for every 1,000 clients. In the telecommunications sector the company has 1.25 million lines, coverage density of 37% and 2 employees for every 1,000 clients.
