Description

Cemex S.A.B. of C.V. is a Mexican cement producer controlled by Zambrano family, whose largest shareholder is US investment fund Dodge & Cox. It was incorporated in 1906 to produce, distribute and sell cement, concrete, aggregates and construction services in Latin America and the rest of the world. Headquartered in Monterrey and offices in New York, it owns 56 cement plants, 1,505 Ready-Mix plants, 258 distribution plants and 67 maritime terminals. In addition, it develops renewable energy projects in Mexico through its subsidiary CEMEX Energía, S.A.P.I. de C.V.
