Description

Gasnor is an Argentine distributor of piped natural gas serving Tucumán, Salta, Jujuy and Santiago del Estero provinces. The firm was created in 1992 after the privatization of state-owned company Gas del Estado de Argentina. Its concession area comprises more than 508,000 residential, commercial, industrial customers and thermal power plants, and a total population of nearly 2 million through a 11,026km distribution network. The company also supplies vehicular natural gas with 129 stations across the country. Gasnor is controlled by construction company Casetellone Energía y Concesiones S.A. and Gas Natural Chile, through its subsidiary, Gascart. It is headquartered in San Miguel de Tucumán.
