Description

Brazil's cities ministry, created in 2003, is tasked with ensuring that urban residents have universal access to drinking water, sewerage and waste service, housing and transport. The federal government plans to give priority to housing projects under phase 3 of federal housing program Minha Casa Minha Vida (my house my life), urban mobility works under the country's growth acceleration plan PAC, and various basic water and sanitation projects.
