Description

Consorcio Electrinorte, led by the Peruvian construction group Graña y Montero through its Colombian branch Morelco (85%), is aimed at the development of power generation projects in the north of Colombia since 2016. Based in Bogotá, it participates in the Colombian firms Consultores Unidos, specialized on studies; DV Ingeniería, of transmission lines; and Enterprise Management Services, of services. In 2016, Consorcio Electrinorte was allocated for 25 years the design, supplies acquisition, construction, operation and maintenance of the 110 kV transmission line Riohacha - Maicao - Cuestecitas (137km) in the Department of La Guajira at US$149M, whose delivery is estimated in 2019.
