Chilean state port operator EPV was legally incorporated in 1997 to administer, operate, develop, and conserve Region V port Valparaíso, its industrial assets, and all port-related activities indispensable for its satisfactory functioning. It has eight berths and a marine area covering around 50ha. Its concessionaires include passenger terminal operator VTP, Zeal, TCVAL and TPS, the country's main container handling terminal.
