Description

Altamira Gold Corp., called Equitas Resources Corp. until 2017, is a Canadian exploration company established in 1994 in Vancouver which acquires and develops mining properties. In 2016, Altamira Gold entered the Latin American market by acquiring the Canadian firm Alta Floresta Gold Ltd. and 100% of its interests in gold deposits and production licenses covering over 200,000 ha in the copper porphyry belt Juruena, in the center of Brazil; which includes the projects Cajueiro (49,384 ha), Apiacas (97,429 ha) and Crepori (8,322 ha) located in the states of Mato Grosso and Pará. In 2018, the results of three surveys in Crepori showed grades of 4.55g/t of gold in 1 meter; 0.55g/t and 0.56g/t in 2 m; 3.23g/t and 8.52g/t in 4 m; 1.81g/t in 5 m; and 0,66g/t in 600 m.
